Position Summary
Primarily responsible for the administration of the whole training process from training needs analysis to post-training evaluation and proper maintenance of training reports and records documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Training, Monitoring and Evaluation
- Write training proposals
- Prepare, administer, consolidate, and analyze results of training needs assessment (TNA) as well as the pre- and post-training evaluation
- Develop and update training modules of the project
- Assess administrative and logistical requirements of training activities, and ensure that these are adequately provided with support of Program Assistant
- Coordinate with the Program Officer, Project Officers, Program Assistant and Finance unit for funding needs of training programs/activities
- Implementation and monitoring of training activities of the project and ensure these are implemented within respective time frames
- Maintain training database in collaboration with other members of the team
- Gather participant feedback especially appropriateness and relevance of training design, quality of trainers, etc.
Documentation
- Ensure proper documentation of training activities
- Prepare training reports following prescribe formats and procedures
- Document Human Interest Stories and major takeaways of the project implementation
Others
- Contribute to project planning and improvement of work processes / tools
- Perform other related functions as may be directed by the Immediate Superior
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Development Communication, Mass Communication, Education, Social work and the likes
- Preferably has a working experience in a NGO setting
- Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact, and diplomacy
- Willing and able to heavy travel
- Commitment to NORFIL Foundation’s vision, mission, core values and principles
